As the Executive Director of Alt Breeding Schwarz (ABS) Architects’ Casework Division in Annapolis, Richard T. Anuszkiewicz’s (Anna-skev-ich) two driving forces are a passion for design and an appreciation of style.
A graduate of Virginia Tech’s National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA)-accredited residential design program, Richard has received numerous accolades that illustrate his distinctive creativity and jovial personality. Since being ranked by NKBA as an inaugural, national top 30 Under 30 in 2013, Richard has swiftly become recognized as a kitchen design authority.
Launching the renowned Fashion Forward Thinking: Becoming a Savvy Designer tour in 2014, Richard’s love for public speaking led him to present nationally at premier industry events, including the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) Las Vegas and Dwell on Design Los Angeles. In 2016, Richard was part of the DXV by American Standard Design Panel, and was commissioned to design a kitchen for their national advertising campaign. In 2017, the ABS Casework Division took home first place in the Subzero/Wolf Kitchen Design Contest and was featured in House Beautiful Magazine for designing stunning and functional kitchens in Annapolis.
Richard has been highlighted in numerous other high-profile publications, such as Vanity Fair, Architectural Digest, Traditional Home, The Washington Post, The Editor At Large, Robb Report, HGTV and more. He enjoys staying up to date with trends and technologies, and he recently studied abroad at Salone del Mobile in Milan and The London Design Festival.
